Make pancakes

When you think of cooking pancakes, you probably think of griddles. They are the first choice for cooking pancakes. A griddle is a large rectangular pan that can be placed on the stove, or sometimes it is a separate piece that heats on its own.

The benefit of a griddle is the large surface area, low edges for easy flipping, and it allows easy use for arranging pancakes side by side.

If you don’t have a griddle, you can use a pan, such as a skillet. For pancakes, its best to use a pan with a nonstick coating. You will still need to use butter, oil, or spray, but the nonstick will help.

Although I doubt you’ll try, don’t use a pot such as dutch ovens, or stockpots. They have high edges that would make it nearly impossible to flip the pancakes.
